Research on Monte Carlo simulation of CAT III auto-landing system

Abstract Approach/Landing is the phase of most accidents occur to endanger civil aircraft safety. CAT III autoland operation can improve safety and reliability when approach landing in bad weather conditions, reduce pilot’s working loads, so control law design an important task advanced flight system research. However, related researches are requirement based rather scenario based. Firstly, article analyzes Monte Carlo simulation requirements on airworthiness auto-landing proposes a model scheme considering uncertainty dynamic actuator model, error sensors disturbance wind, then implements desktop platform. The result shows that designed assure safe stable condition all kinds uncertainty, touchdown point, vertical speed attitude compliance with expectation criteria, satisfying items.
